Functional Fitness Training Sessions

Join us for twice-weekly functional fitness sessions with Janek, our Active IQ Level 3 PT instructor. Our sessions are based around full-body movement, which can offer great advantages over traditional gym-based training, by combining a wide variety of ‘stations’ (different movements, exercises, or equipment).

Our inclusive training sessions offer a energetic workout with relaxed Sunturtle vibes! They are accessible for a wide range of abilities and fitness levels, And, of course, they’re ideal training to support SUP and other paddle/water sports.

Sessions typically begin with stretching/warm-up followed by an introduction to the equipment and techniques. Each workout is different and tailored to the needs of the group. Depending on how the workout is programmed we might work around each station individual, in pairs, or as a group. Every session ends with a warm-down and feedback. You will come away feeling energised, enthused, and having had a good laugh! (as well as a good workout!).
